What is the Fossett Framework?

The Fossett Framework is a theological-anthropological model of identity disruption, grief, loss, and restoration. It examines how experiences of rupture affect identity, meaning, relationships, emotional life, and human perception across personal, relational, spiritual, cultural, and societal contexts.

Restoration Before Reconstruction

A central principle of the Fossett Framework is the idea that restoration precedes reconstruction. Before individuals can meaningfully rebuild their lives after rupture, loss, grief, or disruption, identity itself must first be acknowledged, stabilized, and restored.
